Welcome to Pimpoyo Home Family Daycare
Unlocking Curiosity

Why choose us?

We believe children must have the opportunity to learn through experiences of touching, moving, listening and observing. Music is a big part of our every day life so expect them to sing for you! Always in a safe environment where children feel free to express themselves, understood and loved.
The program at “Pimpoyo Home Family Daycare” is based on the principles of respect, community, responsibility and love for each other. Through exploration and discovery we will navigate our well balanced curriculum that will allow children to explore and develop their imagination, creativity and self-awareness.

Communication with parents is paramount and I will send home with the child a daily report, as well as on going and constant communication with detailed monthly newsletters. We work together for the good of the children.
Symbolically, the notion of "pimpoYo" is used to name children in their early years and who stand out for their sympathy and beauty. A teacher can refer to students as their rose buds.

Florencia Lucero
Owner and Caregiver
When I had my third daughter I was going to school for nursing but soon I realized that I wanted to apply my knowledge and abilities of nurturing and caring for others in my own daycare with children. Soon, I opened my first daycare in Edmonton. I met incredible families and amazing kids with whom I still stay in touch with. I run my daycare for four years. We moved to B.C in 2017 and since then I have been working in a daycare and as Noon Supervisor for the School district. I love being around children and watch them grow and develop their own personality. One thing you need to be certain of is that your child will be loved when he is at my home. See you soon!
